Jazz guitars were the very first instruments that I had dealt with in the early 60's. I have played, disassembled, repaired and rebuilt them. To this day, the fascination of this instrument genre has not diminished. My instruments are generally characterized by easy and fast response and acoustic assertiveness, but they also show extensive freedom from feedback.

Archtops are offered in body widths of 16", 16 3/8", 17", 18", as well as four-string basses in 19" and 20".

The jazz guitars are offered in three classes according to the use of wood qualities:

  •     Museum Grade [40 years old fine-grained alpine spruce, deeply flamed old sycamore maple for  back, sides and neck]
  •     Gran Lusso [20 year old quality tone woods, maple with deep flaming
  •     Studio [made of very good tonewoods, medium flamed maple ]

All resonance plates are massively carved from the solid by hand.
